Dip a Day With Stuart Felice

Our Futsal Keeper Stuart Felice has been carrying out a Dip a Day challenge with a view to raise funds for RICC. He has set himself the goal of having a dip in the sea everyday between Boxing Day 2016 and Boxing Day 2017. Last Friday it was Dip Number 89 and the club decided to support Stuart in this most worthy endeavour.

Grey skies and pouring rain and a drop in temperatures did not deter the Gibraltar United family from doing its Civic Duty and players, officials and coaches from the Youth all the way to the Senior Division all joined Stuart in his Dip. It was great fun and indeed Stuart has already surpassed his initial target and is now ploughing ahead to new goals.

A welcome drink was had by all after the shock of a wintry,March Dip!

Spotlight on Youth Football

Yesterday one of our Under 9 teams, Gibraltar United Fill A Skip, was invited to play a friendly in Spain against a side from La Linea called Calderon. This is the second time our team has crossed the border to play friendlies having beaten La Peña del Real Madrid 3-2 last week. They emerged victorious yesterday as well and are proving to be a solid, compact and effective unit. Things are looking up as we #SupportLocalTalentForTheFuture
