Premier Division 4th Round Review

Round four saw the first managerial casualty of the season as Lynx FC and Allen Bula departed ways. Lynx are rock bottom with no goals scored and no points on the board. They had the toughest of tasks against an in form and unforgiving Lincoln FC. Glacis Utd remain a point and a position above them but the Clarets and Blue have not had the rub of the green so far this season and they were unlucky to lose against Europa FC; the champions finally getting a win on the board. St Joseph’s bounced back from the loss to United by comfortably seeing off Phoenix. Mons Calpe made it two wins on the bounce while United saw off Lions to consolidate the 2nd position in the table.

Round five throws up some tasty games. In Gib Utd vs Mons Calpe and Lions Vs St Jospeh’s we see the teams in 2nd to 5th all in action and with sorely needed points to play for they should be entertaining matches. Glacis and Lynx square off in a basement battle with the latter in search of their first points and goals of the campaign. Man 62 face a tough game versus Lincoln while Europa will seek to find some momentum against Gib Phoenix.
