Lincoln empahtically defeated Europa 3 – 1 in the game of the round on Saturday evening to leave the defending champions yet to win a point, though they do have a game in hand. Lynx continued their bad start to the season after a defeat to Mons Calpe in the opening game of the weekend. United climbed into 2nd position after defeating St Joseph’s; and were joined there by Lions FC after their very late equaliser against Man 62 on Saturday night. Glacis and Phoenix shared the spoils following a 1 all draw in the remaing game of the round.

Round four brings a 2nd versus 3rd clash in Lions FC vs Gibraltar United. Last year’s basement battle suddenly transformed into a top of the table clash, no doubt the game of the tie. Lynx face a tough ask against Lincoln while the champions will look to get off the mark against Glacis United on Friday. Mons Calpe square off against Man 62 while St Joseph’s play Phoenix
